The new Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness, Home: Together, emphasizes that access to employment and economic opportunity plays an important role in preventing and ending homelessness. In October, National Initiatives joined federal partners t the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to lift up ideas for how HHS can help ffamilies and youth experiencing homelessness succeed in work. Our ideas were drawn from our Pathways Forward reoprt and will help drive federal-level action coordinated byt the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness to avance employment and economic opportunity for people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness.
