Letter to Congress in Support of HR 3700 Amendment 4

This is a letter in support of H.R. 3700, the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act. This letter supports Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee's (TX-18) Amendment Four to the Act, which directs the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to work with the Secretary of Labor to produce an annual report on interagency strategies to strengthen family economic empowerment by linking housing with essential supportive services such as employment counseling and training, financial growth, childcare, transportation, meals, and other support services. Our letter urges the support of this amendment and urges additonal coordination with Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture.
